The Role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Maths Teacher to join our team. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality lessons across KS3, KS4, and KS5, equipping students with the mathematical skills and confidence they need to excel.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons in line with the national curriculum
Teach a range of mathematical concepts, including algebra, geometry, statistics, and calculus
Support and challenge students to reach their full potential, adapting teaching strategies as needed
Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and targeted support
Contribute to the development of the Maths curriculum and department initiatives
Participate in extracurricular activities, such as Maths clubs or competitions
Essential Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or significant experience teaching Maths in a secondary school setting
Experience teaching across KS3, KS4, and KS5
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for mathematics
An up-to-date DBS check on the update service or willingness to obtain one
Excellent communication and classroom management skills
A commitment to inspiring students and fostering a love for Maths
Desirable Skills & Experience:
Experience with A-Level Maths delivery
Knowledge of different teaching strategies to engage a diverse range of learners
Familiarity with exam board specifications and assessment criteria
Ability to contribute to whole-school numeracy initiatives
