Justteachers is seeking a positive and creative Maths Teacher to teach at a smaller than average Secondary school based near Corby. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire students and foster a love for mathematics. The role will start in September 2025 up until July 2026.
The school are a well organised, smaller than average secondary school. Based in a fairly rural location the school benefits from beautiful grounds. The leadership team and supportive and effective leaders.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
Assess and monitor student progress, providing targeted support where needed
Encourage problem-solving, critical thinking, and a positive attitude towards mathematics
Maintain a well-structured and inclusive classroom environment
Contribute to the wider school community, including extracurricular activities and intervention sessions
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
Experience teaching Maths at the secondary level
Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and effective teaching strategies
Ability to engage and motivate students of all abilities
A passion for mathematics and a commitment to student success
