Matrimonial and family solicitor

Key Responsibilities: Providing expert legal advice and representation to clients on a range of family law matters including divorce, financial settlements, child custody, and domestic violence. Managing a varied caseload independently from initial consultation through to resolution. Preparing and reviewing legal documents including prenuptial agreements, separation agreements, and consent orders. Conducting negotiations and mediations to reach amicable settlements. Representing clients in family court proceedings and hearings. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of family law and related legal developments. Building and maintaining strong client relationships with a focus on delivering outstanding client care. Supporting senior solicitors and partners with complex cases and high-value matters. Engaging in business development activities and networking to contribute to the growth of the Family Law Department. Requirements: Qualified Solicitor with 2+ years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in matrimonial and family law. Proven ability to manage a diverse caseload independently and effectively. Strong advocacy, negotiation, and communication skills. Excellent organizational and time management abilities. Empathetic and client-focused approach with a high degree of professionalism. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Team player with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and clients.
