Mechanical and Electrical Design Engineer

Seeking an experienced and qualified Mechanical & Electrical Engineer, Building Services Engineer to join a Chartered Building Services company. Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm, and the annual salary is negotiable depending on experience.
Previous experience in a similar M&E engineering role, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality maintenance services.
Duties:
Work between multiple sites and adapt to changing priorities
Designing and developing M&E services for the Education, Medical, Public, and Commercial industries
Use AutoCAD and Amtech ProDesign software
To deliver electrical/mechanical planned and reactive maintenance works
Ability to read technical drawings and diagnose technical faults
Perform maintenance and engineering tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of all M&E systems
Conduct regular inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs to ensure compliance

Experience and qualifications:
Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently
Must hold a recognised electrical , mechanical or relevant trade qualification
A candidate with a degree in Building Services Engineering BEng, Electrical and Electronic Engineering BEng OR Energy Engineering BEng or equivalent is desirable
Must have extensive experience of building services
Strong customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal
Confident, with the ability to work on own initiative
