Mechanical Architect

Design and develop the mechanical architecture of cutting-edge missile systems.

You will be responsible for capturing and managing mechanical requirements as well as ensuring that these are implemented across all missile sub-assemblies within given time and budget frames.

About the Role:

• Analyse the overall product structure, mechanical interfaces, and architecture.
• Produce adherence to key design principles such as modularity, reusability, and design for assembly, and provide support during the product design and review phases.
• Manage technical relationships with suppliers to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.

About You:

• Ideally educated to degree level, or equivalent experience
• Experience of electro-mechanical and mechanical design
• Experience developing proving logic and generating compliance evidence
• Awareness of broader engineering fields, such as Materials, Tolerancing, Configuration Control, Vibration, Shock, Fatigue, Six Sigma & Lean Design, V-model, DFMEA

• Salary: �35,000-�50,000 Plus Bonus & Benefits
• Location: Stevenage OR Bolton
• Hybrid working: 3 Days a Week On-Site

You will be successful in this role if you have an in-depth understanding of electro-mechanical design and architecture in a controlled environment.
