Hours of work: 07:30 - 16:00 (Mon - Thurs), 07:30 - 13:00 (Fri)

Due to the nature of the work, candidates must be eligible for BPSS Clearance.
Must have resided in the UK for 3 years minimum and be able to provide 3 years of employment history.

Role Overview:
We are seeking a Mechanical Assembler to carry out mechanical assembly tasks in accordance with technical drawings.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Mechanical Assembler, your duties will include:

  • Performing mechanical assembly tasks
  • Constructing small sub-assemblies
  • Assembling fans, motors, and heaters by following assembly instructions and technical drawings
  • Assembling products to company standards
  • Utilizing various hand tools such as spanners, screwdrivers, allen keys, torque wrenches, and electric power tools
  • Using measuring tools such as Verniers and Micrometers
  • Performing point-to-point wiring and crimping of small cables
  • Soldering small components
  • Carrying out general assembly duties across a range of products

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, CMMs, or SOPs
  • Experience working with SOPs alongside technical drawings
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and understanding English
  • Knowledge of hand tools (circlip pliers, screwdrivers, tweezers, scrapers, Swiss files, etc.)
  • Soldering skills on small components
  • Familiarity with machines such as lathes and drills
  • Brazing experience is desirable
  • Ability to work effectively within a team
