Overview

The successful applicant will be joining an established business on the cusp of significant growth. Supporting the workshop team in the building of bespoke special-purpose machines, many of which are the first of their kind.
A unique position as you’ll be involved in projects from start to finish as you’ll be required to visit different sites.

Responsibilities

As a Mechanical Build Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

  Liaising with stakeholders to review their technical diagrams.

• 
  

  Manufacturing, building, and assembling of complex systems.

• 
  

  Supporting the electrical team with basic tasks.

• 
  

  Assisting with 1st stage operations, possibly including the welding and machining of components.

• 
  

  A constant focus on quality.

• 
  

  Offering suggestions on areas of improvement.

• 
  

  Testing mechanical systems and identifying faults.

• 
  

  Communicating across the business with other teams to ensure on-time delivery.

Background

  Full UK Driving Licence.
