OverviewThe successful applicant will be joining an established business on the cusp of significant growth. Supporting the workshop team in the building of bespoke special-purpose machines, many of which are the first of their kind.
A unique position as you’ll be involved in projects from start to finish as you’ll be required to visit different sites.
You’d be joining a team of highly skilled engineering professionals, within a business able to boast great longevity across the company.
Owing to the products being specialist, you’d receive the required training to fulfill your role.

As a Mechanical Build Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
Liaising with stakeholders to review their technical diagrams.
Manufacturing, building, and assembling of complex systems.
Supporting the electrical team with basic tasks.
Assisting with 1st stage operations, possibly including the welding and machining of components.
A constant focus on quality.
Offering suggestions on areas of improvement.
Testing mechanical systems and identifying faults.
Communicating across the business with other teams to ensure on-time delivery.
As a Mechanical Build Engineer, you’ll ideally tick some of the boxes below:
Full UK Driving Licence.
Willing to travel to customer sites.
Good understanding of how industrial systems work.
A mechanical-focused qualification.
Use of power tools.
Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
High organisational skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to obtain a vetted security clearance/DBS checks.
