Mechanical Design and Development Engineer
You’re a hands-on Mechanical Engineer who likes to work with machinery, take it apart, make improvements, change parts and components to make them easier to build, to make them last longer, do different things, develop different types of machinery BUT you can also do the desk-bound mechanical CAD design of the machines too.
So- you’re a mechanical design engineer, hands on, R&D, likes machines.
And – you want to work for a profitable, growing, machinery company with an existing range of packaging, processing, manufacturing machinery, used around the world. BUT the company is engineer led, and it wants to improve its existing machines, and it wants to develop extra machines for today’s issues, to win more orders too.
Therefore- it needs you, and it will listen to what you say. You’re in a key role for the company’s future.
Rewards: You’ll get a first-class salary, 34 days holiday, extra paid overtime to complete your work if you need it, private health, and unusually, a company car to help you to go to customer meetings to see what they want, to meet suppliers, to get your prototypes made, to help you to do your research.
