Design industrial automation machinery for the biotech industry



Join a growing team of mechanical design engineers as they develop room-sized and factory scale automation equipment for the biotech sector. As part of a well-funded company, you will be working alongside other engineers with expertise in software, control systems, and electronics tasked with designing new machinery as well as modifying and improving existing components. Your understanding of the challenges involved in producing large scale machinery and your ability to guide the team around these pitfalls is crucial to this role.



Requirements:




  • Strong mechanical design engineering background gained through either a degree or vocational training

  • Demonstrable experience developing and delivering industrial automation machinery into production

  • Highly skilled 3D CAD user (ideally SolidWorks)

  • Full rights to work in the UK without time limit
