Mechanical Design Engineer - OUTSIDE IR35

We are working with a Global Manufacturer of High Precision Medical Devices based in the Salford Quays area, who are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer OUTSIDE IR35 for an initial 3 month contract.
The role will be at least 3 days on site a week and will require someone with experience in the following areas. Ideally we are looking for someone to start at the end of July.

• Design for high vacuum systems. (sealing methods and outgassing)
• Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team and communicate effectively at all levels.
• Precision engineering within a small scale manufacturing or prototyping context. (including, 5 axis CNC, EDM, Grinding, boring, wire erosion, chemi-etching, plating, plating and surface treatment, CMM).

• Extensive knowledge of limits, fits and tolerance standards.
• Knowledge of engineering materials and surface finish standards.
• Experience of Solidworks and Creo/Pro-Engineer mechanical design software.
