We are working with a well-established and rapidly growing engineering company seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer with RF expertise to join their innovative team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects in a business that designs and manufactures high-performance components for specialist industries, including aerospace, medical, and industrial sectors.

The Role:

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you’ll be responsible for:

• Designing and developing precision-engineered components using SolidWorks.


• Creating detailed engineering drawings, part numbers, and BOMs within the company’s ERP system.


• Providing technical support to sales and manufacturing teams.


• Assisting with costing and labour estimation for assemblies and components.


• Leading continuous improvement projects to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  
  Collaborating with teams across multiple locations, with occasional travel required.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong experience in RF/Microwave connector design (essential).


• Proficiency in SolidWorks and familiarity with ERP systems.


• A creative and problem-solving mindset.


• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.


• Willingness to travel occasionally to different sites and customer locations.
