Mechanical Design Engineer

We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our growing client on the South Coast! This would suit a candidate who is based close to Portsmouth or someone who is willing to relocate to the South Coast. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years’ + experience working in a Mechanical Design role ideally with experience designing Injection Moulded plastic parts and components or similar. *Hybrid working after probation* Key Responsibilities:Design from concept for manufacture injection moulded, die cast and similar parts for the automotive industry.This would suit someone who has designed any injection moulded parts in a fast paced industry Technically assist the manufacturing department during the building of prototype samplesUnderstanding of Tolerances idealKey Attributes:Proficient in CATIA V5. Will consider other CAD software package Injection moulded plastic component design experience
