Salary:  £30,000 - £38,000 DOE

Type: Permanent, Start date ASAP

Our client is a leading manufacturer of universal test equipment with an outstanding reputation within the manufacturing industry working across a global scale of clients. Mechanical Design Engineer 's main responsibilities:

• Deliver drawings and relevant production information on the time for production and despatch


• Liase with other managers and employees on engineering related matters


• Design, modify and check compliance of drawings to customer specifications and configurations


• Monitor, rectify and notify relevant parties of changes


• New engineering designs, Grips, Fixtures, Associated equipment an d automated systems project work


• Quotations for new and amended designs


• Maintain drawing archives

Requirements for the successful Mechanical Design Engineer:

• City & Guilds, NVQ or BTEC qualifications or equivalent of ONC standard minimum


• Proficient in Inventor and AutoCAD or SolidWorks


• Strong communication skills and attention to detail


• Minimum 2 years work experience in Mechanical Design Engineering
