Due to several recent project wins we are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a very well-established and very successful international Multidisciplinary Engineering Consultancy who are market leaders in the data centre industry. Impressive project portfolio working with leading blue-chip clients throughout the UK, Europe and SE Asia.Amazing offices in the centre of Birmingham KEY RESPONSIBILITIES The Mechanical Design Engineer will support the wider design team in providing mechanical services design RIBA stages 2-4 on major hyperscale data centre projects. Assisting with design development on high-value and varied projects. Representing the client at Design Team and Client Meetings.SKILLS AND BACKGROUND Qualified to MEng or BEng Degree level or equivalent in either mechanical engineering or building services engineering. Relevant experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer within a consultancy is essential. The Mechanical Design Engineer will be ideally working towards Chartered status through CIBSE or the IMechE however not essential. The Mechanical Engineer will have a stable work history and experience of working on a range of projects within the built environment.
