Role: Mechanical Design Engineer
Location: Cambridgeshire
Salary: �40,000 to �50,000 per annum
Job Description: Our company is currently recruiting for a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team in Cambridge. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical solutions for our range of products and projects.
Responsibilities:

• Designing and evaluating mechanical systems and components
• Creating detailed drawings and specifications for manufacturing purposes
• Performing calculations and simulations to ensure the functionality and safety of designs
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including electrical and software engineers, to integrate mechanical systems
• Conducting tests and assessments to validate designs and identify improvements
• Maintaining documentation throughout the design process
• Keeping up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design
• Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant design tools (Solidworks)�
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Experience in a Consultancy would be beneficial but not essential�
