Mechanical Design Engineer

Yoh have joined up with a growing business who are looking to expand their Mechanical department. This Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for developing product designs from concept to development and production stage. This position has a focus towards new product development, however there will be a variety of working on excising as well as and short to long-term projects internally.
They specializes in the design and manufacture of high-quality equipment for engineering and technology disciplines. Their products help engineers conduct hands-on experiments in areas like fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, aerodynamics, civil engineering, and more.
Prime Responsibilities:

Design from concept for new products. this will include high level modelling and drawing creation to industry standard.

participate in design reviews, documentation and failure mode analysis.
Requirements
* Degree in mechanical engineer or engineering discipline
* Experience working for design for manufacture (DFM)
* At least 3 years' experience working in a similar position focusing on product design.
