Mechanical Design Engineer

We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our key client in Peterborough
This role would suit someone with a proven background working in a Mechanical Design role in a fast-paced environment with at least 3 years' experience using Solidworks.
Key Responsibilities:

• The Mechanical Design Engineer will be designing bespoke project designs for customers from concept to completion using sheet metal and other fabrication manufacturing methods.
• Making modifications to existing designs
• Liaising with production and manufacturing to ensure designs can be created and meet project deadlines
• This role will involve project management and can offer progression into a Project Management position

Key Attributes:

• Ideally experience designing products made from sheet metal or other fabricated metal products
• Solidworks experience
• Any hands on or shop floor experience earlier in the candidates career would be beneficial but not essential
