Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer or similar with a background in designing Jigs and Fixtures looking to join a leading manufacturer who work for some of the biggest engineering companies in the UK on a variety of projects and can offer In house and a host of benefits including quarterly bonuses?
On offer is the opportunity to join a stable company who were first founded in the 1800s, who have been successfully producing a wide array of parts, starting with tools and over the years breaching into new industries including automotive, energy and off-highway. They are a trusted partner of some of the biggest engineering companies in the UK and are looking continue expanding and take on more work.
This role will primarily involve the design of Jigs and Fixtures used for the manufacturing and welding of parts, and also some minor modifications to customer design to ensure feasibility during production. The role will also include liaising with toolroom staff and the NPI Manager to discuss projects and make adjustments.
This role would suit a Mechanical Design Engineer or similar with a background in the design of Jigs and Fixtures looking to work for a stable company on a variety of projects who can provide support in the form of inhouse and external training, paths for progression as the company grows and a range of company benefits including a great pension and quarterly bonuses.
The Role

• Design of Jigs and Fixtures
• Small modification of customer drawings
• Design meetings and liaising with the workshop

The Person

• Mechanical Design Engineer or similar
• Background in Jig and Fixture design
• Commutable to Wolverhampton
