Mechanical Design Engineer

We are working with a client seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer with 4+ years of industry experience, particularly in steel fabrications. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in 3D CAD (SolidWorks preferred) to contribute to impactful projects in a dynamic engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design steel fabrications and mechanical systems to meet client specifications and industry standards.


• Create 3D models and detailed technical drawings using SolidWorks (or similar CAD software).


• Develop comprehensive manufacturing packs, including material lists and assembly instructions.


• Collaborate across teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and optimized for cost and performance.


• Provide ongoing technical support during the manufacturing process.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 4+ years of mechanical design experience, with a focus on steel fabrications.


• Proficient in 3D CAD, ideally SolidWorks.


• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, materials, and fabrication processes.


• Experience preparing manufacturing packs and assembly instructions.


• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
