Mechanical Design Engineer – Process Systems (Piping & Tanks)

Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer with a knack for process plant layouts, piping systems, and tanks?
A global engineering business is seeking someone who can hit the ground running on a major new project — interpreting P&IDs and translating them into fully engineered 3D solutions.

You’ll be hands-on from day one, producing designs that directly support manufacturing and on-site installation. The role sits within a collaborative team and offers exposure to both bespoke capital equipment and fast-moving product updates.

What you'll bring:

\n

• 3–5 years of industry experience

\n

• Proficiency in 3D CAD (Inventor preferred)

\n

• Strong understanding of pipes, tanks, and process equipment

\n

• Ability to interpret and implement P&IDs into design models

\n

• Knowledge of BoMs, design for manufacture, and engineering documentation

\n

Bonus points for:

\n

• Experience with pressure vessels, chemical handling systems, or similar

\n

• Exposure to both bespoke machinery and process plant layout

\n
