Mechanical Division Manager

HAYS are recruiting on behalf of an established M&E Contractor based in Southampton. Following the success of their recently completed projects, they are looking for a Mechanical Division Manager to solidify their growth & amplify their mechanical arm.

Key Responsibilities: Management of Design or pre-commencement phase
Liaise with clients, consultants, quantity surveyors and other third parties
Procurement of the project (subcontract packages, materials, plant) before we start on site
Production of construction/ commissioning programmes
Management of your project site and office team, ensuring effectiveness in their role
Achieving project milestones and deadlines
Financial management and working to budgets
Quality control
The ideal candidate: Commercial acumen
Experience on design and build, new build and refurbishment projects
High level of technical knowledge
Strong negotiation skills
Mechanical Contractor background
