This role, as Mechanical Engineer, would suit a time-served engineer who want to work on bespoke automation systems.

\n

The role will involve mechanical assembly and installation of bespoke robotic based automation systems, working predominantly in house but also assisting with installations at customer sites across the UK (and occasionally abroad).

\n

The role of Mechanical Engineer includes:-

\n

\n
• Fitting, assembling, building and servicing of conveyors, manufacturing equipment
\n
• Problem solving, as each project is bespoke
\n
• Reading and understanding of engineering drawings and mechanical principles.
\n
• Would be comfortable travelling, working of site and staying away.
\n

To be considered for the role of Mechanical Engineer, you should ideally have:-

\n

\n
• Knowledge of industrial robots is all highly desirable.
\n
• Experience with CNC machines and/or turning would also be a great benefit.
\n
• The willingness to undertake training courses into other fields such as robot and PLC programming, if they wish.
\n
• A team player attitude and be able to demonstrate good communication skills.
\n
