The Job: Mechanical Fitter/Machine Builder in Burnley

This is a great opportunity for a skilled Mechanical Fitter or Machine Builder to join a company that designs, manufactures, and installs bespoke machinery in Burnley.

What You'll Do:

• Work on your own initiative or collaborate with a team of skilled engineers.


• Fabricate and assemble machinery using mild steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.


• Read and understand engineering drawings and assembly diagrams.


• Use a variety of hand and power tools.


• Drill and tap parts.


• (Optional) Leverage your fabrication and welding experience.

Requirements:

• Experience working with mild steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.


• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and assembly diagrams.


• Proficiency in using hand and power tools.


• Drilling and tapping skills.


• A valid driver's license.


• Reliability is a must.

Bonus Points:

• Fabrication and welding experience.
