Are you a Mechanical Technician with experience in the installation, overhaul, service & maintenance of rotating equipment such as pumps, valves & turbines looking for the next exciting step in your career with a great company in a Monday-Friday days-based role?
Excellent opportunity on offer for a Mechanical Technician to join a global company with a great reputation in their industry for the levels of service they provide to their loyal client base worldwide.
This fantastic company are specialists within the rotating equipment arena & they are well known for supporting projects across a range of industries. They provide extensive services for the installation, commissioning, service & overhaul of rotating equipment and due to a heavy workload, they are now looking to add a Mechanical Technician to their team in Southampton.
The Ideal candidate will be a time served, qualified Fitter / Technician & will have the ability to get security clearance & site passports to work on a Petrochem site, alongside previous experience in the overhaul of rotating equipment including Pumps, Valves & Turbines.

The Role:

• Installation, Refurbishment & Overhaul of rotating equipment
• Working on Pumps, Valves & turbines
• Adhering to strict health & safety guidelines
• Working to tight deadlines

The Person:

• NVQ 3 Qualified with previous working on the installation, service & maintenance of rotating equipment
• Experience within the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical Industry or a similar working environment
• Good working knowledge of Pumps, Gearboxes, Fans, Mixers, Motors, Valves, Turbines bearings, seals, alignments
• A good communicator & a team player
• Ability to get security clearance & safety passports
