A leading engineering business is currently recruiting for a Fitter/Technician to join their team on a Permanent basis.

The Fitter will ensure all work is undertaken in a cost effective manner, identifying areas of improvement to reduce the cost to the company whilst maintaining quality.

You will be involved in;

• Dismantle and record dimensional findings and detailing any faults


• Liaising with Technical� quality team to advise of repair requirements


• Repair of components e.g.; fitting and pinning wear rings, bush, pressure testing and dynamic balancing


• Assembly of basic pump types in line with the inspection report and work instructions


• Compiling reports as required in line with company procedures and processes


• Support a safe and tidy working environment

You will have;

• Previous experience assembling and inspecting rotating equipment such as Pumps/Motors/Generators


• C&G minimum qualification in Mechanical Engineering


• You will be able to read and interpret mechanical drawings and good attention to detail.


• Good knowledge of health and safety requirements

The role is working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday (overtime is available).� This is �Permanent role which offers salary �43,226 plus opportunity for overtime.� They offer excellent benefits to include 33 days annual leave, company wide bonus scheme, contributory pension, Employee Assistance and other great benefits as well as long term career progression.
