We required candidates to work both Days and Night shift, these will be on a permanent shift basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work as part of a multi-disciplined team to plan and execute tasks successfully
- Install hydraulic and pneumatic ship machinery and equipment following current engineering drawings
- Perform routine commissioning checks, including pipework checks and machinery reporting back to the Supervisor
- Communicate issues and problems efficiently with relevant knowledge
- Diagnose malfunctioning machinery using detailed manuals and drawings
- Carry out quality inspections on new equipment
- Work both independently and as part of a team to achieve set goals
Job Requirements:
- Ability to work as part of a team and also alone with a strong safety ethic
- Good timekeeping and flexibility regarding start/finish times
- Effective communication skills
- Application of professional knowledge
- Experience of working in a shipbuilding environment
- Certified time-served apprenticeship
- City & Guilds certification
- HNC / HND qualification

Rates:
Day shift -
Standard hours - �17.07/h plus �2.06/h holiday pay, OT after 37 hours - �23.90/h plus �2.88/h holiday pay
Night shift -
Standard hours - �22.19/h plus �2.68/h holiday pay, OT after 37 hours - �23.90/h plus �2.88/h holiday pay
