Mechanical Fitter

Mechanical Fitter required for a well-established specialist supplier of hydraulic and Electric Submersible Pumps. The successful Candidate will be undertaking Dismantling, repair and fitting responsibilities on a range of Diesel Pumps and Diesel Engines.

Mechanical Fitter Position Overview

• Carrying out repair work on Pumping equipment
• Testing equipment to identify faults
• Drilling, Tapping and basic bench fitting duties
• Stripping and cleaning a range of Pumping equipment
• Use of hand tools and measuring equipment

Mechanical Fitter Position Requirements

• Previous experience in a Fitting / Assembly role
• Previous experience with a range of Engineering processes including Drilling and Tapping
• Any Machining experience would be beneficial
• A working knowledge of Hydraulics and Pneumatics would be advantageous
• Based within a commutable distance of Sheffield

Mechanical Fitter Position Remuneration

• �15.35 per hour
• Full time, 39-hour week
• Monday to Thursday 8:00 - 16:30 Friday 8:00 - 15:30
• Overtime Available
• 33 Days holiday including public holidays
• Pension
