Mechanical Fitter

Proactive Global currently is looking for Mechanical Fitter to work for a manufacturing company based in Nottingham (Bulwell Area NG6)

Your daily duties will include:

• Assembly and fitting of specialist machinery
• Manufacturing small components
• Assembly of components
• Cutting, shaping, drilling, tapping etc.
• Working to in-house designs, drawings and quality requirements

To be considered for this role you will need the following skills/experience:

• Previous mechanical fitting experience preferably working on/building machinery
• Good verbal and written communication skills

The ideal candidate will:

• Mechanical engineering background or similar
• Hands on experience in mechanical fitting
• Experience of using hand and power tools and workshop machinery
• Ability to understand & interpret engineering drawings
• Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise tasks
• Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision and as part of a team
• Good Attention to detail
• Good understanding of general health and safety

More about the role:

• Hours: Hours: Monday to Friday 7.30am-4.00pm
• Start date: ASAP following interview process
• Rate - �13-16 per hour
