Mechanical Fitter

The Client and the Role

Our client is a leading supplier of training simulators to clients worldwide, and we are currently recruiting for 2 experienced Mechanical Fitters on their behalf. The positions are part of a long-term installation project based near Clyde, offering an exciting opportunity to work on a large-scale project within a naval setting. The roles come with a 12-month contract, as from December 2024, with potential 3-month extensions thereafter, and applicants must be able to obtain security clearance.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Mechanical Fitter in a commercial or industrial environment.


• Security Clearance is essential (or the ability to obtain it before the project starts).


• Working hours: 40 per week.

Desirable Skills:

• Forklift Truck licence.


• First Aid qualification.

Additional Benefits:

• Based on 40 hours per week, the rate would be £25-30 per hour.


• Hourly rate increments of £1 at 3 months, 6 months, and 9 months into the project.
