Mechanical Fitter

We are seeking a skilled and experienced�Mechanical Fitter�to join our Clients dynamic team. Our client specializes in designing and manufacturing bespoke machinery for the wire & cable and paper industries.

What You'll Do:

• Precision Assembly:�Assemble complex mechanical components with precision and accuracy.


• Engineering Drawings:�Interpret engineering drawings to understand and follow assembly procedures.


• Tool Proficiency:�Utilize a variety of hand and power tools to perform tasks efficiently.


• Material Expertise:�Work with various materials, including mild steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.


• On-Site Installation:�Occasionally travel to customer sites to install and commission machinery.


• Problem-Solving:�Identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues, providing innovative solutions.


• Quality Assurance:�Ensure all work meets the highest quality standards and complies with safety regulations.

What You'll Need:

• Proven Experience:�Minimum of 3 years of experience as a mechanical fitter.


• Technical Skills:�Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and practices.


• Problem-Solving:�Ability to think critically and solve problems effectively.


• Attention to Detail:�Meticulous attention to detail to ensure precise assembly.


• Physical Fitness:�Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various physical positions.


• Teamwork:�Collaborative approach to work and ability to work well with others.
