Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum (plus benefits and overtime potential)

Working Hours:

• Monday - Thursday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm


• Friday: 8:00 am - 2:30 pm


• Total Hours: 38 hours per week


• Overtime: Available on Saturdays (1.5x pay) and Sundays (2.0x pay)

Holiday Entitlement: 25 days

Mechanical Fitter Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble high-quality components and specialist sub-assemblies.


• Read, interpret, and work accurately from detailed engineering drawings.


• Operate and maintain a range of machine shop equipment.


• Approach challenges with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.

Mechanical Fitter Essential Skills and Experience:

• Strong background in mechanical fitting; electrical fitting skills are a bonus.


• Proven experience in building bespoke or special-purpose machinery.
