Due to a period of continued growth our client is looking to appoint a Mechanical Fitter to join their ever expanding team who will be responsible for ensuring high quality standard and precision in all mechanical work.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Assemble and fit our clients product range.
• Carry out mechanical modifications, installations, and inspections.
• Work with a range of tools and equipment to ensure accurate and efficient fitting.
• Conduct testing and quality checks to maintain company standards.
• Follow health & safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with engineers and other departments to improve processes and efficiency.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
• Skilled in using a variety of hand and power tools.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• A relevant engineering qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent) is desirable.
