Mechanical Fitter

We have excellent opportunities for skilled Mechanical Fitters to assembly specialised rotating machinery for the rubber mixing sector.
The role involves the fitting and building of large capital machinery. Previous experience working on turbines or rotating machinery is preferred.

It is vital that applicants have the ability to interpret technical drawings and hold a recognised Mechanical Engineering apprenticeship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble mechanical components according to schematic drawings.
• Install and align pumps, motors, valves and pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• Machine assembly, drilling, tapping, using hand tools / power tools
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and provide effective solutions
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards
