What Are Your Responsibilities In This Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Job?

Maintain and Repair: Tackle breakdowns and repairs swiftly, ensuring minimal downtime.

Preventative Maintenance: Conduct planned preventative maintenance (PPM) with diligence and precision.

Project Support: Assist with new installations and ensure they integrate smoothly.

Contractor Liaison:  Coordinate and oversee external contractors as needed.

Key Responsibilities In This Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Job.

• Perform routine maintenance and compliance inspections/checks.
• Fault find and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and rotating plant systems.
• Consistently execute planned, preventive maintenance tasks.
• Direct and liaise with external contractors on site.
• Adhere to Safe System of Work framework and all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including parts used and equipment condition.
• Comply with written maintenance and operational procedures.
• Uphold high housekeeping standards across the site.

What We’re Looking For On Behalf Of Our Client

Some experience in mechanical fitting, maintenance and troubleshooting.

Ability to read and follow engineering drawings, schematics, and technical instructions.
