Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Mechanically Biased)
Salary - £33,500 - £37,000
Location - Blackburn BB1
Working Hours - Days Only - 7:15am/4:30pm - Monday to Friday
Our Client has been providing contract packing services to the food industry for almost 50 years and has an exciting opportunity for a multi skilled maintenance engineer with mechanical bias. The successful candidate will have 6+years of food manufacturing experience and will be expected to:
- Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance
- Analise and resolve issues
- Conduct repairs
- Perform general maintenance on machinery, equipment and facilities
- Have a good interpersonal skills
- Adhere to Health & Safety requirements and be conversant with HACCP and BRC.
- Ensure all equipment and machinery is in optimal working condition
- Set up machinery as required at production changeovers
Familiarity with some of the following types of machinery is required:
- Multihead weighing machines
- Bagging machines
- Linear weighers
- Cartoning machines
- Flow wrap machines
- Shrink wrap machines
- Coding equipment
- Inspection equipment (Check weighers & Metal Detectors)
