Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Salary: £41,784.25 per annum (including Shift Allowance)
Orion are working with a client within the heavy industrial sector and we are looking for a highly experienced Mechanically biased Maintenance Engineer with strong experience with Hydraulic & Pneumatic systems.
Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Responsibilities:
Maintenance of a wide range of plant machinery including - diecasting machines, presses, robotics, CNC, lubrication systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Fault finding and fault investigation on hydraulic systems
Fabrication, welding and pipe work
Operating equipment such as FLTs, cranes, slings, MEWPs, and lock-off systems when needed.
Ensuring quality and administrative procedures are followed with precision and attention to detail.
Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Requirements:
A minimum of 4 years in a maintenance role with a strong background in hydraulics, pneumatics, and machine maintenance.
Solid understanding of Health & Safety regulations and best practices related to machinery and operations.
Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Qualifications:
City & Guilds (Mechanical or Electrical) or equivalent qualification, backed by a recognised apprenticeship.
