Shift Mechanical Maintenance Engineer – FM Service Provider - Healthcare Environment – 4on 4off (Days & Nights) - West London - £42,000 + OTCBW Staffing Solutions is excited to present an excellent opportunity for a Shift Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established building services company based in London. This role is based at a state-of-the-art clinical research facility in Hammersmith, West London, where you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of the building's systems. Working with a team of four engineers, you will be responsible for both planned and reactive maintenance tasks, collaborating closely with a skilled on-site team and reporting to a senior engineer. This is a hands-on role that offers a dynamic work environment where you’ll be contributing to the upkeep of important systems within a Healthcare setting. The successful applicant should have a strong grasp of Facilities Maintenance and hands-on experience in building maintenance. Shift pattern - 4on 4off Days & Nights - 07:00am to 19:00pm & 19:00pm to 07:00am
Key duties & Responsibilities Carry out PPM, Reactive or first line response to the following;
\n- Pumps, Motors, Seals, Bearings
\n- Plumbing - Unblocking toilets, replacing taps, washers
\n- BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & cold)
\n- Carry out all aspects of M&E/Fabric maintenance
\n- Maintain and update Logbooks
\n- Working to Planned Preventative and Reactive maintenance regimes
\n- Changing taps/washers
\n- Install and replace hot water cylinders, pipework, Boilers, Temperature check the repair and servicing of mechanical & electrical (M&E) equipment

Requirements \n- Completion of a recognised Mechanical industry qualification preferably an apprenticeship.(i.e. C&G, NVQ)
\n- Previous experience working in a similar working environment or building maintenance role is essential.
\n- Must have good customer facing skills to include an understanding of customer related issues.
\n- Have an understanding of HVAC & mechanical plant workloads and issues.
\n- Good and broad knowledge of health and safety.
\n- Ideally Computer literate with a working knowledge of MS office system/BMS.
\n- Healthcare experience would be highly desirable (Not essential)
\n- Must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates
