Job Summary:�
Our client is seeking an experienced and driven Mechanical Manager to oversee project delivery, site management, client communications, etc. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in Commercial Plumbing & Heating�
Key Responsibilities:�(Assist Directors)
- Project Planning and Execution:�Manage mechanical projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
- Technical Guidance:�Provide expert advice on mechanical systems, ensuring all work complies with industry standards and project specifications.
- Design Review and Feedback:�Review, approve, and provide constructive feedback on mechanical designs, drawings, and specifications to ensure quality and feasibility.
- On-Site Presence:�Be on-site daily to oversee installations, monitor progress, and ensure standards are met.
- Team Training and Mentorship:�Train and mentor team members, fostering continuous improvement and enhancing the overall workforce quality.
- Technical Issue Resolution:�Identify and troubleshoot technical issues promptly, providing effective solutions to maintain project momentum.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in mechanical systems management within the construction industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems, installations, and industry regulations.
- Experience in reviewing and approving mechanical designs and specifications.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to offer swift solutions to technical challenges.
- Strong leadership and team development skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Commitment to being on-site daily and engaging in hands-on project management.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum NVQ Level 2 and above within a Mechanical discipline
- Minimum SSSTS/SMSTS
- Experience with large-scale mechanical installations in commercial or industrial projects.
