£13.82 per hour

Shift: 4on 4off; 2 days 06:00-18:00 and 2 nights 18:00-06:00

Mach Recruitment is recruiting for Mechanical Operators to work in a large warehouse and distribution site in .
The role:
As a Mechanical Operator you will be working within a warehouse environment and your duties will be as followed:
To follow daily housekeeping schedule
Liaise with Wire mill manager / Process lead / Shift lead
Weigh, record & report scrap / scale levels
Organize & ensure consumables (Sanding belts, soap etc.) are stored correctly / neatly
Organize and review all secondary equipment, die station, wire drawing equipment
Assist in other departments if required
Control further processing, delivery or installation of non-conforming product until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected.
Eradicate or minimise all scrap / waste at all times.
Complete any reasonable request by management
Train to cover wire mill operators when required
About you:
As a Mechanical Operator you will have the following skills and experience:
Wire drawing experience preferred
Minimum of 1 year within a manufacturing department
