Mechanical Project Manager

Renowned for their expertise in Building Services Sector, the company specialises in AC, ventilation, BMS, heating, thermal insulation and electrical. They primarily focusing on commercial office projects including D&B and CAT A/B fit-outs, education, healthcare and hospitality and leisure.

Position: Mechanical Project Manager

They are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager with a strong background in CAT A and CAT B commercial office fit-outs, education or healthcare. The upcoming projects will be based in London.

Key Responsibilities:

• Programme Design and Delivery: Develop and execute the project programme efficiently.


• Procurement Management: Oversee the entire procurement process, including sourcing materials, negotiating contracts, and evaluating vendor proposals.


• Financial and Health & Safety Management: Handle project finances, variation accounts, and ensure health and safety compliance, delivering a snag-free project.


• Client Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring effective communication and relationship management.


• Project Handover: Ensure successful project handover, including final accounts and completion of all O&M documentation.


• Sub-Contractor Management: Demonstrate a proven ability to manage and oversee sub-contractors and their deliverables.

Candidate Requirements:

• Strong management skills with the ability to build effective working relationships both internally and externally.


• Excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and leadership qualities.


• Previous experience in UK commercial office fit-out projects is essential.


• Relevant mechanical qualifications and a background in construction.
