Exciting opportunity to join an established Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance Services provider with an outstanding reputation within the Facilities industry. You will be working within Central London offices and across multiple project sites throughout London and occasionally Greater London areas.

They are seeking an experienced Project Manager with an established reputation and a minimum of 10 years’ experience within the industry. It is crucial to this role that you have a proven track record over several years as a Project Manager in managing fabric, mechanical and electrical projects. You must be proficient in understanding the integration of mechanical and electrical equipment within a commercial building environment. You will be responsible for delivering M&E installation projects and will be accountable for final project delivery. The position has room to further develop and you will be responsible for overall resourcing, optimizing performance and managing and developing staff under your remit.



The candidate will be able to confidently carry out the following duties;




  • To fully understand client and tender specification to ensure the most accurate & competitive cost is submitted within the set deadline, resulting in high conversion rate

  • Create a program of works using MS Projects or have experience using similar software

  • Assess, manage & control project finances Via the earn value process to ensure pre contract profit is achieved.

  • Work with the project team to collaboratively identify and manage risk and opportunity in a proactive manner.

  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and quality standards are upheld as per the contract specification.

  • Communicate and liaise with the client by attending client meetings and by providing communications and reports where necessary.

  • To report on the progress and quality of the M&E installation and advise on the procurement and delivery of plant/materials and ensure that they are available within the construction programme.

  • Direct Line manager for in house engineers and project administrator

  • Liaising with project and site managers and M&E sub contractors to ensure that the installation of the M&E installation is co-ordinated with the fabric of the building.



You will be required to have the following attributes/experience;




  • Understanding of CDM and ability to run projects within CDM regulations.

  • Ability to act on own initiative and self-motivated, with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

  • Effective in all forms of communication.

  • High standard of organisation and time management.

  • Experienced in attending client facing meeting.

  • Strong experience of managing a team and delivering projects through subcontracted labour

  • Capable of managing and delivering projects up to £3m in value

  • Thorough understanding of M&E works and in-depth knowledge of the construction process.

  • IOSH or NEBOSH qualification/Health and Safety Equivalent

  • PRINCE 2 Practitioner or equivalent.
