Mechanical Project Manager



This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Mechanical Project Manager with between 1 and 5 years project management experience within the Mechanical Building Services sector to join an established and well-respected M&E Building Services contractor.



The company, based in South Hampshire, provide a full range of Mechanical and Electrical services, from design through to installation and commissioning. They work across multiple sectors including commercial, office fit out, healthcare, retail and leisure, with typical project values ranging from £100k up to £500k, and as a result of continued growth, they are looking to add to their project delivery team.



Typically, your working week will consist of 1 day at Head Office based in south Hampshire, 3 days visiting sites, and 1 day working from home.



Ideally you will have between 1 and 5 years experience as a Mechanical Project Manager, we would also very much consider an ambitious Mechanical Supervisor / Mechanical Site Manager who is looking to take the next step up in their career and move into a Project Management role. 



Duties & Responsibilities:



As a Mechanical Project Manager, working alongside a Senior Mechanical Contracts Manager, your role will be oversee and manage mechanical projects from inception to completion, ensuring that they are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.




  • Directly manage project development from start to finish, having responsibility and accountability for all aspects of the project

  • Design review

  • Procurement of plant, materials & labour

  • Technical Submittals

  • Overall Cost Management

  • Managing the engineering input into the project strategy

  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project requirements are met

  • Monitor project progress and address any issues that arise

  • Conduct regular site visits and inspections

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations throughout the project life-cycle

  • Reporting into the Senior Contracts Manager and Managing Director



Requirements:




  • Preferably you will have between 1 and 5 years experience within the Mechanical Building Services sector as a Mechanical Project Manager or similar role, we would also very much consider an ambitious Mechanical Supervisor / Mechanical Site Manager who is looking to take the next step up in their career and move into a Project Management role. 



Remuneration Package:



£50,000 - £58,000 according to experience, plus vehicle (Nissan Navara), Travel expenses, Bonus scheme, Pension, Company Events, Phone and Laptop. The company also provide genuine career progression opportunities, as well as a very enjoyable, supportive, and rewarding working environment.
