Mechanical Technician

Astute's Nuclear team is partnering with a business experienced across decommissioning, waste management, and more recently from engineering design, R&D, and refurbishment. They are looking to recruit a Mechanical Technician on a contract until the end of 2025 for its Winfrith site.

The Mechanical Technician role comes with a rate between �350 and �370 a day (CIS).

Key skills

• Performing plant operations, installations, assembly, dismantling, and other activities on equipment within the site and workshop environment on general plant and equipment.

Location, remuneration and timeframe of the Mechanical Technician role

• Winfrith site
• 4 days a week
• 10 hour shifts
• CIS - �35 - �37 an hour.

Candidates must hold an NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or relevant courses.

Security Clearances are not required but a valid BPSS would be an advantage.
