Mechanical Technician

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join a global manufacturing business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting mechanical equipment and machinery.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance tasks on machinery, equipment & pipework


• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform repairs as needed


• On-site fabrication


• In-situ welding�


• Install new machinery, equipment


• Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations


• Keep accurate maintenance records


• Collaborate with other team members to improve processes

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering preferred


• Proven experience as a Mechanical Technician or similar role


• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and components in an industrial setting


• Excellent problem-solving skills


• Good physical condition to handle the demands of the job
