Mechanical Technician

A Mechanical Technician is required to join our client based in Fife, a UK wide waste management organisiation (Perm, Monday to Friday, Days).

Mechanical technician duties:

• Ensures relevant HSEQ requirements are incorporated into area of responsibility and, in consultation with site management and HSE, that HSE hazards are eliminated or mitigated to the extent practicable


• Performs all mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance activities on all processes systems and equipment


• Reads and follows mechanical drawings, O&M manuals, and relevant information


• Carries out assigned job activities throughout the shift to ensure all work assignments are completed correctly and as requested


• Preventative maintenance and fault finding


• The mechanical technician will update progress reports on work orders on CMMS


• Ensures that work accidents, incidents and near misses are reported


• Complies with all National and Local Mechanical Codes, completing professional works

Requirements:�

• Related qualification


• Experience in a heavy process envoironment with reactive and preventative maintenance experience.�
