About the roleDue to our continued growth, we are seeking a Media and Content Coordinator to generate engaging, informative and interesting content and communications for use both internally and externally. Your role will help to celebrate our successes and demonstrate the value and impact we deliver across our projects. You will play a key role in our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) team, working closely with our CSR Manager and the wider team to drive stakeholder engagement, enhance social media presence and usage, enhancing our company profile and demonstrating our partnership approach. Key roles and responsibilities include;Liaise closely with the CSR team and CSR Manager to develop effective understanding of the business including client KPIs, good news stories and outcomes. Create social media and website content and communications to raise the brand profile and promote our key business values: Listen, Build, Connect.Control the content on all social media and digital channels to ensure appropriate content, quality and compliance. Recommend appropriate social media and comms channels for various types of content and communications.Highlight successes of the business including key partnerships, project completions and milestones, employability programmes, awards, training programmes, etc. Work cross departmentally to ensure sound business understanding and priorities. Utilise a range of software to create images and content. Review suitability of internal comms methods and communication platforms, specifically for sharing business updates and general information with all colleagues.Consider Business goals, prioritise and align our social media and comms strategy to support the business to achieve these outcomes. Advise the business on new and emerging technologies. Attend sites to liaise with staff, tenants and clients as well as capturing photos and videos of key projects and stages of development, etc. Build relationships with all departments and key stakeholders.The BenefitsCompany pensionLife assurance34 days holiday including public holidaysCompany social eventsAttractive salary and benefitsYour Skills and ExperienceThis role is ideally suited to someone who has recently graduated and is looking to develop their practical knowledge and relevant industry experience. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about the power of social media, who can bring their creative ideas to the table and keep our staff, clients and followers regularly updated with all things McTaggart Construction related. The ideal candidate will be/have;Degree or equivalent qualification or experience in a relevant field such as communications, marketing, etc. Effective communicator.Highly IT literate, including software such as InDesign, Adobe, Canva etc. (tell us what other software you need!)Basic project management skills and fundamentals.Excellent time management skills.Able to prioritise workload effectively.Comfortable and confident in communicating with a diverse workforce.Sound knowledge and understanding of social media, digital marketing, latest trends etc.Full UK Driving Licence with access to own transport (some travel is required in this role).About the CompanySince its foundation in 1946, McTaggart Construction has delivered significant impact through the delivery of social, affordable and private housing projects throughout West and Central Scotland.
