We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Media Studies Teacher to join our secondary schools in Colchester, starting immediately. As a Media Studies Teacher, you will inspire students to develop their understanding of the media industry, including critical analysis of film, television, advertising, and digital media. This full-time position requires a qualified professional with a passion for teaching and a strong background in media studies.

The successful Media Studies Teacher will have experience in delivering engaging lessons that stimulate creativity and critical thinking in students. You will be responsible for preparing students for their assessments and helping them to develop essential skills such as media production, analysis, and the understanding of contemporary media issues. The Media Studies Teacher will work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure that the curriculum is delivered to the highest standards, promoting student achievement across all key stages.

As a Media Studies Teacher, you will foster an inclusive learning environment where students can express their ideas, develop their media literacy, and explore various media forms. You will also have the opportunity to encourage students to participate in media-related extracurricular activities, helping them to further develop their skills and interests.
