Project Engineer (MEICA)

Tier 1 Main Contractor

Location: Within 40 miles of WS1 4NN

Salary: £55,000 per annum + car allowance + benefits 

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to support the delivery of MEICA projects. You'll ensure safe, high-quality, and cost-effective execution, working closely with the Project Manager and stakeholders. This role involves technical input, risk management, and driving customer satisfaction while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Support project delivery through technical expertise, planning, and risk mitigation.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and teams to ensure projects meet requirements.
• Oversee suppliers and manage technical aspects of designs and installations.
• Conduct audits, technical checks, and quality control during project phases.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards throughout.

Requirements

• Essential: Degree or HND in Mechanical, Electrical, or ICA Engineering, SMSTS/NEBOSH, and relevant CSCS card. Proven experience in MEICA or industrial engineering.
• Desirable: Water industry experience, familiarity with WIMES standards, and knowledge of NEC or similar contracts.
