Mental Health Nurse RMN £5,000 STARTING BONUS



Hours: Full-time/Part-time/Nights



Pay: £36,176 - £38,596/pa (dependant on experience) + £5,000 BONUS

We are looking for Mental Health Nurse RMN – pay advertised is dependant on the knowledge, experience and skills demonstrated at the interview.



Mental Health Nurse essential requirements:



- Valid, active NMC pin with no restrictions present



- At least 12 months of post-qualification experience as RMN



Mental Health Nurse role:




  • 2 weeks of induction on starting the role including agreed shadowing time

  • 12 hour shifts (include days, nights, weekends and bank holidays)

  • The role is within a 38-bedded hospital on a specialised eating disorder ward

  • Work as a part of an effective Multi-Disciplinary Team

  • Promote the best interest of clients and carers and ensure that prescribed nursing care in consistently implemented to your allocated patients

  • Assess, plan and deliver nursing care which considers patient choices and wishes, while acting as the patients’ named nurse

  • Carry out patient assessments and evaluate their progress accurately

  • Review and Monitor Nursing Care Plans

  • Evaluate and respond to changes in patient conditions as appropriate

  • Prioritise nursing duties and delegate as appropriate

  • Maintain a continued level of personal professional development in accordance to preceptorship and revalidation

  • Work in accordance with safeguarding adults and children policies and requirements

  • Ensure the requirements of the Mental Health, Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberty Standards are met

  • Adhere to Medicine Management policies at all times



Pay enhancements:



Monday to Friday (nights) 22:00 – 6:30 20% of hourly rate



Saturday All Day 20% of hourly rate



Sunday All Day 50% hourly rate



Bank holidays All Day 50% hourly rate
