MEP AutoCAD Technician

Our Client is seeking a detail-orientated and skilled�AutoCAD Technician�to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, modifying, and maintaining technical drawings and designs using AutoCAD software. This role requires a strong understanding of engineering principles, design standards, and the ability to interpret technical specifications and red line mark-ups.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and prepare detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings and designs using AutoCAD software.


• Collaborate with engineers, and project managers to ensure design accuracy and compliance with industry standards.


• Revise and update existing drawings as required, ensuring consistency and clarity in documentation.


• Conduct quality checks on drawings to ensure precision, accuracy, and adherence to project requirements.


• Maintain organised records of all drawings and revisions for future reference.


• Stay up to date with AutoCAD software developments and industry trends to enhance drawing quality and efficiency.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of engineering drafting principles.


• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.


• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.


• Strong organisational and communication skills.


• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.


• Prior experience in drafting within construction, engineering is preferred.
